Music

Listening to the Nampa Christian High School choir is comparable to enjoying the best college or professional music available. For decades, the NCS music department has been blessed with talented instructors and outstanding student voices. Since 2004, Anna Simpson has led the music department and her choirs and bands have received critical acclaim in not only their seasonal concerts and church visits, but they have earned dozens of awards at the prestigious Worldstrides Heritage Performance Festivals each spring in California.

- Sweepstakes Award is for having the highest average score between top choral and top instrumental groups from the same school.
- Spirit of Anaheim Award is for having admiral conduct throughout the festival weekend.
- Adjudicator's Award is for having a score 95 or higher.
- Outstanding Choral Group is for having the highest choral score in the entire festival.
- Gold, Siver, Bronze awards are based on score: 90s get gold, 80s get silver, 70s get bronze.
