"James 1:27 instructs us to look after orphans and widows in their distress. I often view struggling single parent families as orphans and widows without a parent or spouse to lean on. I especially appreciate that after Vine Maple Place has shown love to these families, we then give them hope by providing the resources and skills to become self-sufficient."

Peggy has been involved with Vine Maple Place in many ways for several years. She has a variety of experience in customer service, management and training. This experience, along with her BA degree in Business from the University of Washington provides a springboard to listen to, organize and coordinate volunteers and their visions and talents to the many possibilities that make Vine Maple Place a success.

Peggy lives in Maple Valley with her husband Dan and their daughter Sara. They attend Lake Sawyer Christian Church.
